Callie

I can't believe our little girl will be 3 soon! She is such a great mix of girlie girl and tomboy. She loves to dress up, wear accessories and put on chap stick yet she is the first to get dirty while out playing, climbing and wrestling with her family and friends. She loves to play pretend with her Barbies and stuffed animals, watch Disney movies and climb or jump on anything! She has the impatience of her mother and the stubborns of her father and is recently insisting she can do everything by herself! Yet she can still melt my heart with a cuddle, kiss or an "i love you."

Arizona

We headed out of cold Iowa to sunny Arizona for some vacation time. We played golf, went to Pump It Up, got some pool time and ate too much great food! Justin and I also took a mini trip to Scottsdale where I attended an awesome continuing education course given by Frank Spears while Justin got to play the TPC Scottsdale and Wildfire Palmer Courses. We stayed at the amazing Scottsdale Fairmont Princess resort. Thanks so much to Grandma Barb for babysitting!

Gymnastics

Callie has been taking gymnastics since she was 18 months old on Saturday mornings during the cold months, but I finally remembered to bring my camera on "photo day." It was difficult to chase her around and get pics, but we got a few!

Valentine's Day Photo Shoot

Callie picked out this dress at Costco and wore it for Christmas - she looked so cute, but I forgot to get pictures. So- I decided to do a quick photo shoot to use for Valentine's Day cards. The pictures turned out great, but my little girl is growing up too fast!!!

Snow Day

In February we had our first snow day! We got enough snow that we couldn't get to work and the plows didn't get to us until 5pm. Justin spent most of the day with his gigantic snowblower that I thought would never be necessary, but I think most of the neighbors were grateful for his help. The kids and dogs had a great time playing out in the snow, the adults were excited for a day off from work and I had one small dental emergency with a neighborhood child that got hit with a shovel... but all and all a great old fashioned snow day!

Ice Skating at Coral Ridge Mall

We decided to take Callie ice skating at the mall. Her little skates were so cute, the smallest size they had! She wasn't very good and almost took all the adults down while being dragged around the rink, but a good time was had by all!
